Dr. Ruby Onwudiwe is a distinguished technology and business leader with extensive experience spanning technology operations, systems engineering, financial services, fintech, and strategic innovation. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations at COURE Technologies, Inc., where she brings a wealth of expertise in technology leadership, operational excellence, and organizational transformation. Dr. Onwudiwe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Policy and Conflict Resolution from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. She also earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, both from George Mason University. Her career in technology began in 1999 at IBM, where she served as a Requirements and Design Analyst for six years. She subsequently joined CACI International Inc. as a Systems Specialist, further strengthening her expertise in systems analysis, technology solutions, and enterprise operations. In 2005, Dr. Onwudiwe joined Exostar as a Senior Technical Systems Analyst. In this role, she played a pivotal part in delivering high-impact technology initiatives for prominent global organizations, including Lockheed Martin Corporation, Rolls-Royce, The Boeing Company, and BAE Systems. Her exceptional technical acumen and project management capabilities contributed significantly to the successful implementation of critical solutions, including supply chain applications and secure identity management systems. In 2010, Dr. Onwudiwe joined Stanbic IBTC, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, where she assumed several strategic leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. During her tenure, she provided visionary leadership in the delivery of Nigeria’s Core Banking upgrade while driving the bank’s broader IT strategy and technology delivery agenda. Her ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex technology programs, and cultivate strategic partnerships with third-party vendors was instrumental in ensuring the reliability and seamless operation of the bank’s critical technology infrastructure. Through these accomplishments, she established herself as a trusted and highly respected leader in the technology and financial services sectors. Building on her achievements at Stanbic IBTC, Dr. Onwudiwe joined 9PSB as Executive Director of Technology Operations, where she continued to advance innovation and operational excellence within the fintech industry. In this capacity, she leveraged her expertise in technology strategy, new business development, process optimization, and organizational transformation to strengthen the company’s technological capabilities and support sustainable growth.
