Sam Abu is an esteemed leader with over 26 years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). As the current Regional Senior Partner for the West Market Area and Country Senior Partner for PwC Nigeria, Sam plays a pivotal role in driving impactful strategies and transformative solutions across the West Market. He has also spent years auditing and advising local and multinational clients across a range of industries. Sam is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MBA from the prestigious Imperial College London. He is a proud member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He previously held significant leadership positions within PwC, such as the West Market Area Assurance Leader and the Financial Services Leader for Nigeria. His tenure on the PwC Africa Governance Board for the past six years further attests to his leadership capabilities and strategic vision. With his appointment to the PwC Africa Leadership Team (ALT), Sam contributes his extensive experience to setting and driving strategy for Nigeria and the West Market Area. His focus is on building trust and delivering sustained outcomes for stakeholders in the region. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Sam is devoted family man and a physical fitness enthusiast dedicated to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
